Keilembo D. Ellison
Keilembo started at NKA in 2007 as a Law Clerk focusing on FLSA class and collective actions. As an Associate, he works primarily on individual cases dealing with race, sex, age, and disability discrimination. Keilembo also helps clients with contract matters, separation agreements, and other employment related issues. His hard work ethic and calm demeanor help make clients comfortable when dealing with stressful situations.
Keilembo D. Ellison graduated from William Mitchell College of Law magna cum laude. In law school, he excelled in various classes evidenced by multiple CALI awards, a nomination for a writing award, and making the Dean's List several semesters. Also during law school, Keilembo performed an externship with Legal Aid Society's Senior Unit, which eventually turned into a work-study position helping disadvantaged senior citizens navigate social security's and the Minnesota Department of Human Services' complex administrative processes. Keilembo also clerked for Minnesota Court of Appeals Judge Francis J. Connolly in law school, where he assisted in legal research and drafting of memorandum in an appellate case that dealt with revocation of probation. He also analyzed and checked legal citations in various opinions and orders.
