David Schlesinger

David SchlesingerDavid represents employees in both individual and collective actions. He has successfully litigated claims involving unpaid wages, retaliation, discrimination, shareholder rights, breach of contract and tortious interference with contract. David’s recent accomplishments include:

• Winning a trial involving issues of corporate successor liability and defending the result on appeal so that a client could collect a significant judgment;
• Winning conditional class certification for hundreds of workers in three FLSA collective actions against major telecommunications companies;
• Defeating a motion for decertification of claims for off-the-clock work in an FLSA collective action;
• Winning reversal of summary judgment in a whistleblower case on appeal and bringing the case to resolution;
• Resolving, with Jim Kaster, a claim for marital status discrimination for $250,000; and
• Working with a team of NKA lawyers to defeat summary judgment in a discrimination case on behalf of 20 Muslim workers.

David volunteers with the Volunteer Lawyers Network and was recently quoted in Marie Claire magazine.
