Conditional Class Certification Granted in Overtime Lawsuit against New Vision Telecommunications

Last week, District Court Judge Echols granted Plaintiffs' Motion for Conditional Class Certification and Court Authorized Notice. The Plaintiffs are cable technicians who worked for Defendants in Georgia and Tennessee. Plaintiffs filed their motion for conditional certification in early March 2010. Plaintiffs' claims against one of the Defendants, New Vision Telecommunications have been stayed because of its bankruptcy filing. After the remaining Defendants indicated that they were not going to oppose Plaintiffs' conditional certification bid after all, the Court entered its Order. To review the Order, click here.
