Court Grants Nationwide Conditional Certification for Installers in Source Broadband/C-COR Overtime Case

4/27/2009

On April 23, 2009, the United States District Court for the Western District of Tennessee granted nationwide conditional class certification in Brasfield et al. v. Source Broadband Services, LLC and C-COR, Inc., No. 2:08-cv-02092 (W.D. Tenn.). In granting Plaintiffs' motion for conditional certification, the court held that notice should be sent to all individuals across the country who were, or are, employed by Source Broadband or C-COR as installers after February 12, 2005. The court ordered Defendants to disclose contact information for members of the conditionally certified class within the next 30 days. Notice will then be issued to all potential class members.
